Free Parking at the Unicorn

You may have read in reviews that we don't have a car park.We can now happily offer free parking in a nearby carpark. The PDF can be viewed downloaded or printed ready for arrival
We have purchased 10 parking permits for our guests and these can be collected from reception on arrival. Please tick the box on the booking page to indicate that you would like free parking added to your stay or give reception a call to reserve yours today. Guests booking directly through this site are considered priority customers
The permits will allow unlimited parking in the Coach Street and Cavendish Street car parks in Skipton.  In addition, you can also use the permits in Settle ( Ashfield and Greenfoot) and Ingleton (Backgate and Community Centre).  Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for full details.

Cavendish Street car park (Long stay)

Cavendish Street car park. This is the long stay car park, access to the Unicorn can be gained by crossing the bridge and walking aprox 200m

Situated near supermarkets, railway and bus station.  Cavendish Street can be accessed from Keighley Road or Broughton Road.  Parking is available for cars and motorcycles.

**Weekly Tickets are valid for 7 consecutive charging periods starting on the day of purchase. These tickets are valid for 23 hours max, in any one day and can be used at Coach St, Cavendish St, Ashfield, Greenfoot and Ingleton car parks during
thelife time of the ticket





Waller Hill car park (Short stay or overnight from 4pm)

Waller Hill BD23 1UR This car park is opposite the hotel and cars can be seen from rooms 3 5 6 and 7


 Situated near Skipton Bus Station, and accessed via Keighley Road.  Parking is available for cars and motorcycles.

Motorhomes are permitted to park on the Council's off-street car parks. Where the wheelbase of the vehicle prohibits it from parking along the length of one designated parking space then tickets should be purchased for both occupied spaces. Motorhomes must not be parked in spaces designated for coach parking only.


Blue Badge holders

Drivers parking in a designated blue badge parking bay and displaying a valid disabled persons blue badge may park for a maximum free period of three hours. Parking in excess of the three hour free period will require payment of the current car park charges for the additional hours.  Drivers parking outside of the designated blue badge parking bays are required to pay the current charges for their vehicle's entire stay. Current Pay & Display charges are displayed on the tariff boards adjacent to the Pay & Display machines in each car park.



Other parking options

Outside the entrance to the hotel on Devonshire Place are approximately 6 FREE spaces which can be used by guests. These can become busy during the daytime, however,get quieter towards the evening.


The car park opposite the hotel is £2.00 overnight from 4pm until 10pm and is used by the majority of guests
